STAGE 2 DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY - Communications Products - GRAPHIC DESIGN Over the year you will investigate, plan, produce and evaluate a Communications Products that uses Graphic Design processes. The course will focus on developing basic skills in digital graphics, desktop publishing and film. You will use computer programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, IMovie and even IPad / Web applications. You will be expected to produce both a Minor and Major product. The Products will be centred around an awareness issue: i.e: healthy eating, cyber safety, RSPCA, No Germs, housing, Stolen Generations, environmental. Your products need to communicate to a particular audience about a particular issue.

Major Product (either film or print - see list below)
Minor Product (large format poster)
Deign Folio based on the Major Product, and
Series of Skills Tasks
There are 8 Assessments for this subject across 3 Assessment Types – Skills 20%, Folio 30% and Product 50%.
